 - Where were these made?

 - If produced in a country that has had issues with  manufacturing and product content (China comes to mind), has the product been tested for contaminants such as lead?  I would not want to have a cookie jar, or any food container, that had a dangerous lead or other contaminant content.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.</description>
