This SanDisk V-Mate SDVM1-A-A30 Video “Flash Memory Card” Recorder is a DVR (Digital Video Recorder) with a twist - it records video directly to your removable flash memory cards!
The easy to set-up V-Mate DVR connects to your TV and any composite video source and records real-time video quickly and easily. And because the SanDisk records directly to your removable flash memory, you can quickly and easily take your video with you on the go!
You simply connect the V-Mate NTSC capable cable/satellite/terrestrial set-top box, DTV to NTSC converter box, DVD player, VCR, set-top DVR or PVR or even your camcorder. Then, using the graphical user interface that displays right on your TV screen, you set the file format and resolution you need and record away (no PC required)!
It’s compatible with many of the popular flash memory media including SD, miniSD, MMC, RS-MMC, MS and much more! You can also schedule recordings based on channel, date, and start/stop times, including daily and weekly repeats!
Because it records directly to flash media it is a very easy step to view your recorded video content “on the go” by simply inserting your flash memory card into a compatible portable device, like a mobile phone, handheld game, video music player, PC or notebook computer - any device that reads flash memory and provides standard video playback!
